In-Person Hands-On Skills Test
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Skills Test is a vital in-person component for medical professionals seeking NRP certification. This instructor-led, hands-on session helps students demonstrate their ability to perform neonatal resuscitation skills under the supervision of an NRP-certified instructor. During the session, students will practice and gain confidence in their ability to respond to neonatal emergencies with expert guidance.
Course Overview:
The NRP Course consists of two key components (Each component is sold separately):

Online Course – Complete the online portion at your own pace and receive a certificate of completion.

Hands-On Skills Test – After completing the online course, attend the in-person skills test session to demonstrate your neonatal resuscitation skills under the guidance of an NRP instructor.
Certification Process:
Upon successful completion of both the online portion and the hands-on skills test, students will receive an NRP Provider Course Completion Card issued by the The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Part 1: Complete The Online Course
Step 1: Complete Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Blended Course Online
To begin the Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification process, students must first complete the online, cognitive portion of the course, which can be done from any location with internet access. This online portion is provided by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Part 2: Complete The Hands-On Skills Test
Step 2: Sign Up for Your Skills Test
After completing Part 1, the next step is to attend a hands-on skills test at our training site. This session will be led by an AHA-certified instructor who will guide you through practicing key skills and validating your competency.
