What's the procces to register for a class and receive a certificate?

1. Choose a Class. Read the description of the class.

2. Register and Pay online for the class. Read your ticket information.

3. Attend the Class/Training on the day you register for the class.

4. Once you complete the Class/Training you will receive a Certificate from American Heart Association on the same day valid for 2 years.

Why Sign Up Online?

PLEASE SIGN UP ONLINE

Online registration is for your own convenience. By paying in advance you have already made a commitment to attend the class because we have limited seating. Also in a case of an emergency where we need to cancel or reschedule a class, we have your contact information.

If you choose not to sign up online you will be subject to class cancellation because we do not know if you will be attending the class. Walk-ins are welcome and we can take your name and number over the phone but the rules will always apply. We offer classes everyday but the schedule is subject to change when people do not sign up online. If you see a class in our schedule online the class still open, but you will need to sign up online to guarantee your spot and class availability. 

How do I sign up online?
  1. Choose from a list of classes on our class list.
  2. Pick a time on our calendar that works best for you. You will be prompted to our registration page.
  3. Register and pay using your debit or credit card.
    • When your payment is complete, a receipt will be generated and sent to you via email.
    • That’s your confirmation of the purchase and enrollment of your class. Please print this out and bring it with you to class to act as a admission ticket.
  4. Show up to the class and get certified the same day!!!

NOTE: If your payment went through you will receive an email with ticket-receipt confirming your class. You don’t need to call us or email us. You just need to show up to class. If you didn’t receive an email with your ticket-receipt, the transaction didn’t go through. Please check with your financial institution.  Please do not call or email us. We do not have any information of your account with your financial institution nor do we have any information regarding the transaction; unless the transaction is complete.

I tried to sign up online but I'm having problems getting the payment to go through. What do I do?
  1. Here a some solutions to your problem:
    1. Make sure all your information is correct, your name, address, email, phone # and CC#. If any of this information is wrong or missing your payment will not go through.
    2. Clean your browser, cookies and history or you can use another browser like Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.
    3. Make sure there is enough balance to cover your payment.
    4. You can contact your financial institution and ask them why the payment isn’t going through. Please do not call or email us. We do not have any information of your account with your financial institution nor do we have any information regarding the transaction; unless the transaction is complete.
    5. Pay cash at the door. Please read our walking-in policies. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS.

I've left messages and no one has returned my call or answered my email?
  1. Please be patient with our abilities to return phone calls or answer e-mails. We get many calls and emails. We may be on the other line with a customer or in a training session. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Business hours are Monday through Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday 9am to 12pm. Times may vary.
How many years is the certification from the American Heart Association good for?
  1. 2 years
Can anyone take a CPR class?

Yes

Do all employers require CPR Certification?

No, but most of people working in the medical field, government and some private sectors are required to have a CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.

How long are the CPR classes?

It may vary on the type of class you choose or required to take. Classes can vary from 3 hours to 8 hours.

Who is required to take BLS PROVIDER Certification?

Basic Life support for Health Care Providers is required by the State of California for EMS Personnel, physician assistants, Doctors, CNA’s, EMT’s, Paramedic’s, LVN’s, Dentist’s, Nurses, Respiratory Therapist, personal trainers, etc. All must have a valid certificate.

Can a class be cancelled?

Yes and No. During the COVID-19 National Emergency we do not allowed walk-ins. Customers MUST paid in advance for a class can avoid any cancellations. We can cancel classes without any notice for people who did not sign up online in advance; DURING COVID-19.

If CPRClassToday.com were to cancel any classes or skills test sessions we will send an email to each student registered for the skills test during that day.

Class cancellation are due mainly because class is full or people are not singing in for classes on-time.

What is the difference between a class and a skills test?

You can take the whole class with CPR Class Today or you can do a blended course where you take a class online with AHA eLearning website and once you complete part 1 you come to CPR Class Today to do the hands-on skills test. Two different ways to take the class to attain the same AHA certificate. NOTE: SKILLS TEST HAS 2 COMPONENTS: ONLINE COURSE AND HANDS-ON SKILLS TEST  (EACH COMPONENT SOLD SEPARATELY)

What time do the doors open for class?

At CPR Class Today we take very serious the safety of all of our customers and staff . For that reason we open the doors at the exact time of the class. Your patience is highly appreciated. Please take a minute to read the information on your ticket and your confirmation email or on the website and watch our tutorial video for this information. Please be kind and think about everyone’s safety first. Thank you

Why so many rules you ask?

Well, due to abuses of our kindness we have to implement many rules. But at CPR Class Today we want to thank you for your continuous support.

All of our policies are on the website for everyone to read. We know that because of our busy life sometimes many of us rush and don’t take our time to read that information. But this is when we get in trouble. Since 2009 we been serving the community and we try to help people along the way. We encourage our customers to please take a minute and read the information available for every class specially during the National Emergency. Thank you.

Can you refuse the service to anyone?

Yes, we have the right to refuse service to anyone. If someone is intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, presents with bad personal hygiene, has aggressive or bad behavior they will be ask to leave immediately.

No refund will be issued.

If someone is rude over the phone to any of our staff member, the phone call will be terminated. If someone writes an offensive and rude email, the email will be ignored and deleted.

We have zero tolerance for such behavior.

Can I watch FaceBook videos on my phone while the class is in progress?

NO! While the class is in progress we ask everyone to put your phones away. Please do not distract the class. We have breaks where you can go on your social media. If you don’t like to comply with our request we will ask you to reschedule the class on the day that your social media is not an issue for you. We will not give a refund and you will need to pay again full price for the class. I took your class and I already lost the card, what can I do?

I lost my AHA ecard certificate, how can I get a copy?
  • If you need a copy of your AHA ecard certificate because you erase your AHA email by accident, don’t have access to your email, lost your PDF file, forgot your password to your AHA and email account, or any other reason, we can send you a copy to your email for a service fee of $25.
  • Upon verification of class attendance, we can send you a copy of your AHA ecard certificate to your email. To request a copy please click here.
  • NOTE: You can retrieve your ecard for FREE by going to https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards to search for your ecard. All you need is to enter your first, last name and email address.
We can’t come to your Training Site; can the Training Site come to us?

I can’t take one of your schedule classes because of my work schedule, what can I do?

    • To reschedule a class that you paid for and you didn’t show up to the class, you will need to write a request by email to info@cprclasstoday.com. In that email you will need to let us know the date and time you would like to reschedule the class for.
    • If the day is open and available we will let you know by email.
    • We will let you reschedule your class, please read the policies for each class or skills test sessions.We reserve the right to cancel a rescheduled class without any notice.
    • You MUST confirm your rescheduled class 48 hours prior to the class with an email.
    • ALL Rescheduling fees must be pay in full before the day of the reschedule date.
    • If a rescheduled class or skills test is cancelled by CPRClassToday.com, we will NOT issued a refund. We will allow the student to reschedule the class at no extra charge.
    • If you don’t show up to the class for the third time you will need to pay in full the amount of the class.
    • NO EXCEPTIONS to any of these rules. All request MUST be in writing through email, no request over the phone will be accepted.

Can I reschedule a class that I did not show up for BLS New/Renewal Class on a Saturday?
  • NOTE: FOR BLS NEW/RENEWAL CLASSES WE DO NOT RESCHEDULE ON SATURDAYS. If you submit a rescheduling fee payment we can reschedule for a Saturday, again only with a rescheduling fee payment.

    • To reschedule, all rescheduling requests MUST be submitted within five (5) business day after the original scheduled class. The will be no rescheduling pass the five (5) business days, student must sign up and pay again for another day.
    • To attend the rescheduling class, the class must be completed withing but no more than 10 days including weekends and holidays from the original date of the class.
    • After the 10 days grace period, to reschedule the class you missed you need to pay the rescheduling fee.
How can I reschedule an ACLS Skills Test that I paid and forgot to attended or did not Complete PART 1?
  • To reschedule an ACLS Skills Test, please take the following steps:

    • To reschedule a class that you paid for and you did not show up to the class or you showed up but did not complete Part 1 you will need to write a request by email toinfo@cprclasstoday.com. In that email you will need to let us know the date and time you would like to reschedule the class for.
    • If the day is open and available we will let you know by replying to your request via email.
    • We will reschedule your ACLS Skills Test with a MANDATORY charge of $69.99.
    • We can not confirm your rescheduling skills test session until you send us the certificate of completion of Part 1 from the AHA eLearning to our email: info@cprclasstoday.com. Without any of these completed item you will not be allowed to take your skills test as per AHA Guidelines.
    • For the students who did not passed the class or the skills test, the student must sign up on-line by going to CPRClassToday.com and register and for rescheduling fee for another day.
    • Click here to make a payment to reschedule the ACLS Skills Test
    • If you do not show up to the class again for the second time or forgot to do Part 1 you will be charged the full amount for the class.
    • NO EXCEPTIONS to any of these rules. All requests MUST be in writing through email, no request over the phone will be accepted.
    • All Requests MUST be submitted within five (5) business day after the original scheduled class. The will be no rescheduling pass the five (5) business days, student must sign up and pay again for another day.

How can I reschedule a BLS Skills Test Session that I paid and forgot to attended or did not Complete PART 1?

In that email you will need to let us know the date and time you would like to reschedule the class for.
    • If the day is open and available we will let you know by replying to your request via email.
    • We will reschedule your BLS Skills Test with a MANDATORY charge of $39.99.
    • We can not confirm your rescheduling skills test session until you send us the certificate of completion of Part 1 from the AHA eLearning to our email: info@cprclasstoday.com. Without any of these completed item you will not be allowed to take your skills test as per AHA Guidelines.
    • For the students who did not pass the BLS Skills Test, the student must sign up on-line by going to CPRClassToday.com and register and the rescheduling fee for another day.

What's the most current schedule available?

  • Please go to our website and choose the date/time that you want to take the class or skills test sessions. To finish your registration please sign up online and confirm your class with your payment. If the class is no longer available please choose the next available class in the calendar.
If I don’t show up or cancel my class with CPRClassToday.com would I get my money back?
  • No, please read our policy page for further information.
  • In order to receive a full refund YOU “MUST” cancel 72 hours BEFORE the class.
  • If you do not cancel 72 hours before your  class you waive your right to receive a full refund.
  • All cancellation request must be in WRITING through email at info@cprclasstoday.com Cancellations over the phone will not be accepted.

Do you offer a CPR class in Spanish?

Yes, if you need a class in Spanish you would need to schedule a class in advance. Please email us at: info@cprclasstoday.com

Do I need to buy a book?

YES! American Heart Association guidelines requires for everyone taking an AHA course to purchase a book. Students who already have a book with the current guidelines are EXEMPT  from purchasing a new book.

Can I charge my mobile device or pc at your facility using your electricity?

We do not offer any charge station for mobile devices or any electrical devices. Please bring your devices charged from your home for your own personal use.
