The steps are simple – get started today!
- Be accepted by your local training center before enrolling in an Instructor Course and have a completed Instructor Candidate Application on file with that Training Center.
- Have a current AHA provider status and be proficient in all the skills of that discipline.
- Complete an Online Instructor Essential.
- Successfully complete the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course .
- Successfully be monitored teaching your first course within six months of completing the discipline-specific classroom Instructor Course. Training Center Coordinators can require additional monitoring based on the result given by Training Center Faculty.
Once you become an Instructor, you will have access to the most current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources and tools through the online AHA Instructor Network. You will also be able to post class dates and times to reach more students through AHA public website. We offer in person classes.

COVID-19: Our facility is kept clean with daily cleaning routines paying special attention after every class. Please follow the current Face Mask State Mandates. We also have our own series of steps to stay clean throughout the class. Please look at our calendar on-line for available classes and skills test sessions, register and pay on-line. No walk-ins are allowed. If CPRClassToday.com were to cancel any skills test sessions we will send an email to each student registered for the skills test during that day.
