Certification: American Heart Association. The American Heart Association Pediatrics First Aid, AED and CPR Course meets the requirement for the Sate of California for child care providers as part of Title 22. Certificate Card: Valid 2 years. Card is issued on the day of the class.
Course Description: In this Course you will learn how to recognize an emergency, properly respond and provide basic First Aid and CPR if needed. This course will cover adult, children and infant CPR and use of an AED as well as first aid procedures such as cleaning and bandaging wounds, applying pressure to stop bleeding, broken bones, seizures, Epi- pen, burns, bandaging, asthma care and other life threatening emergencies.
Who can participate? Anyone can participate. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 United States. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, baby sitters and guardians.
Prerequisite: You MUST register and pay in advance to confirm your Class. No Walk-Ins are allow. Limited Seating. Please read our policies.
