The Heartsaver First Aid Skills Test is a crucial in-person session for those seeking certification in First Aid. This hands-on, instructor-led course gives students the opportunity to apply their online knowledge and practice essential life-saving skills under the guidance of an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor. You will receive personalized feedback, ask questions, and gain the confidence needed to perform critical First Aid procedures.
Course Overview:
The Heartsaver First Aid Course consists of two key components (Each component is sold separately):
Online Course – Complete the cognitive portion online, followed by a certificate of completion.
Hands-On Skills Test – After completing the online portion, attend the in-person skills test session where you’ll practice and demonstrate your First Aid skills under the supervision of an AHA instructor.
Certification Process:
Upon successful completion of both the online course and the hands-on skills test, students will receive a Heartsaver First Aid Provider Course Completion Card issued by the AHA.

Pre-Registration Required: You MUST register and pay in advance to confirm your spot for the Hands-On Skills Test session.
No Walk-Ins: Space is limited, and walk-ins will not be accepted. Please ensure you secure your spot by completing your registration in advance.

Step 1: Complete HeartCode First Aid Blended Course Online
To begin the First Aid certification process, students must first complete the online, cognitive portion of the course, which can be done from any location with internet access. This online portion is provided by the American Heart Association (AHA).

After completing the online portion, you will receive a certificate of completion from AHA, which is required to proceed to Part 2.

Ensure you have adequate time to complete Part 1. Do not underestimate the time needed to finish the online course.
Step 2: Sign Up for Your Skills Test
After completing Part 1, the next step is to attend a hands-on skills test at our training site. This session will be led by an AHA-certified instructor who will guide you through practicing key skills and validating your competency.

The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR & AED Course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who require a course completion card to meet job, workplace, or regulatory requirements (including OSHA compliance), or for anyone who wants to be prepared to respond confidently during an emergency.
​This is an add-on for the student to reserve the option to reschedule at a discount price if they are not sure about the date they are registering for. The student pays an extra, non-refundable fee during the initial registration process.
To request a reschedule, a non-refundable rescheduling fee is required. Please follow these steps:
Email Request: Send a rescheduling request to info.cprclasstoday@gmail.com within 24 hours of the original class or skills test date and time.
Rescheduling Fee: Submit your non-refundable rescheduling fee along with your request.
Date & Time Selection: In your email, specify the date and time you'd like to reschedule your class. Please note: We do not reschedule on Saturdays.
Availability Confirmation: If the requested time is available, we will confirm via email after processing your fee.
Do Not Register Online: Please do not register online to reschedule. Always send us an email first.
Response Time: You may receive a response to your request within 72 hours. Kindly be patient.
Confirmation Requirement: You must confirm your rescheduled class 48 hours prior to the new class date via email.
Full Payment Required: All rescheduling fees must be paid in full before confirmation of your new class date.
No Show Policy: If you do not attend the rescheduled class for the third time, you will be required to pay the full class fee.
No Exceptions: All requests must be made in writing via email. We will not accept requests over the phone.
Rescheduling Deadline: All requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the original scheduled class. After this period, you will need to sign up and pay for another class.
Rescheduling Window: Classes can be rescheduled up to 5 days, including weekends and holidays, from the original class date.
Cancellation Rights: We reserve the right to cancel any rescheduled class without prior notice, and we do not guarantee a specific date or time.
To be eligible for a refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled class. Failure to cancel within this time frame will result in the forfeiture of your refund eligibility.
Cancellation Request: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info.cprclasstoday@gmail.com. Cancellations made over the phone will not be accepted.
Refund Processing Time: If a refund is granted, please allow up to 30 days for the transaction to be processed.
No Refund for No Shows: You will not be eligible for a refund if you do not attend the class. You can request to reschedule for a fee.Â
Waiver of Refund Rights: By signing up for a class within 72 hours of the scheduled time, you automatically waive your right to a refund.
Acknowledgment of Policies: By registering online, you acknowledge, agree to, and accept the terms outlined in the CPRClassToday.com policies.
