Certification:

PALS  Provider – Guidelines American Heart Association.

Certificate Card:

Valid 2 years. Card is issued on the day of the class. American Heart Association

Course Description:

The PALS Course is intended for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children, including personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacists.

Who can participate?

Healthcare providers that need PALS for their clinical duties. This includes physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and others as required by their employer.

Prerequisite:

  • Students MUST present before Skills Test a current BLS Provider.
  • Upon successful completion of the online portion, students receive a certificate of completion, which they must present for entry into an Instructor-led hands-on session.

Duration:

Approximately 1:15 hours based on your skills.
